#104 Limbs

courtesy: Wordpress Blog Random_Michelle

He called me muse
I called him nothing
That wouldn’t leave
Nothing that wouldn’t change
Nothing that
Held my shadows
And drank my light.
His lashes
Stretched ligaments
Till they tore
from multiple affections
misjudged
Arms tinged grey
His breath took my colours away
Cowering under fading skin
legs  left paralysed
yet comfortably
hidden from sight.
He called me muse
I called him nothing
That would hurt
Nothing that would stay
Nothing that carried my
zeal
and gifted me with indifference.
