Reminds me of
alopecia
stress provoked
perhaps
but not really...
and I sigh
for
bulldozed trees
Hide and seek
Memories
Of childhood
now cloaked
In dusty heat
overturned roots
Necessary sacrifices
to build
Another house
On another shaved hill.
They tell me
I’ll do the same thing
someday.
